Parade for brain cancer patient

This story in Killeen, Texas will tug at your heartstrings. Rory McCracken, a three-year-old boy battling brain cancer was admitted to the hospital in May for a brain tumour the size of a golf ball.

Unfortunately, even after surgery, the tumour grew back, so with Rory’s future uncertain, his grandparents reached out to the community who welcomed the idea of a truck parade for the young boy. Rory’s doctors continued with tests in July and are hopeful that chemotherapy may help. Knowing that a community can come together to help bring hope to the McCracken family is heartwarming.
