Need a refresher? Top 10 summer drinks countdown #10 to #6

With the days growing longer and the temperature growing hotter, there’s no better way to celebrate summer than with some deliciously chilled drinks for a summer BBQ or picnic. Here are the bottom 5 from the list of 10 perfect non-alcoholic summer cocktails that you can enjoy at any outing with family or friends. These drinks were ranked based on ease to prepare and taste.

#10 - Grapefruit Citrus Sparkling Cocktail

Mix half a glass of sparkling water or Sprite with grapefruit juice, toss in a few spoons of grapefruit pulp, and squeeze a wedge of lime and lemon. If you like your drink sweeter, add a spoon of syrup or a dash of sugar. This is a great ‘wake-me up’ drink if you need something with an extra kick of sourness.

On a side note, this is a classic go-to drink to tackle a nasty hangover.

#9 - Dragon fruit green-tea chiller

I actually really like this drink, but dragon fruit is not always so easy to find, I decided to rank this lower on the list.

Make a pot of green tea and cool it in the refrigerator. Puree 1 cup of dragon fruit. Mix in ¼ cup of lemonade and give it a good shake.

#8 - Iced sparkling honey-lime red tea

Make a pot of red tea and chill it. Mix in 2 spoons of honey, ½ cup of lime juice, ½ cup of club soda, and serve with some ice cubes.

#7 - Piña Colada Mocktails

The perfect piña colada minus the rum.

Pour coconut water into ice cube trays and freeze it overnight. Next, blend 1 cup of pineapple, 1 can of coconut milk, ½ cup of coconut cream, ½ cup of pineapple juice, a wedge of lime, and 1 cup of coconut water ice cubes until frosty. Garnish with maraschino cherries and fresh mint, and if you’re all about presentation, pour this mocktail back into the outer shell of the pineapple by cutting it horizontally to form a cup.

#6 - Kiwi Lemonade Spritzer

Puree the kiwi in a blender and mix 1 cup of water, 2 cups of lemon juice, and ½ cup of sparkling water. Give it a good mix and serve.
