I’ve followed all the Avengers movies and even watched the movies for each individual superhero. The Thor series was my favourite when it comes to Marvel superheroes. What really excited me about ‘Avengers Endgame’ was that it was the culmination of 10 years of Marvel movies. It put closure to the story behind this band of superheroes and for the first time, really showed the struggle for superheroes.
Spoiler alert! When Thanos snapped his fingers and half of the population just disappeared, so did many classic superheroes (like Spider-Man) just vanished. In all superhero movies, we will see the superhero struggle because they can’t get their way all the time. However, this typically does not last very long, recovering quickly from a short win from the bad guys. However, Thanos was different and unlike any villain created by Marvel. This movie was about settling scores, wrapping up loose ends, and taking a victory lap, but not after a few honest tears. You’ll be in for surprise at the end, but this surprise was what Marvel needed to boost the next generation of Marvel superheroes.
