Brain Awareness Week

This Fact or Myth video series is a week-long series to honour #BrainAwarenessWeek. I released one video a day, starting on March 15th for a whole week to provide information about brain tumours. Tomorrow will be my last video post, so make sure to check out my YouTube channel for the latest.

In support of Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (BTFC), I started the #HoldOnPleaseEmily Campaign to advocate and raise awareness for glioblastoma (GBM), a terminal brain tumour with no cure.

The power of words in stories and songs helps those affected by cancer feel validated, less afraid, and more motivated in their journey. Cancer hurts, but words have the power to heal and give us strength during these tough times. My team (Team #HoldOnPleaseEmily) is a proud supporter of BTFC and will be participating in this year’s virtual Brain Tumour Walk.

Share these Brain Awareness Week videos to spread awareness.
