Today is World Poetry Day, an annual event on March 21st to celebrate one of humanity’s most treasured forms of cultural and linguistic expression and identity.
Celebrate World Poetry Day with me by writing your own creation and sharing it with others. The beauty about poetry is that it doesn’t have to follow any rules.
Here’s a poem I wrote about the season of spring. The weather is starting to warm up here in Toronto, and I can see patches of grass in my backyard. Soon, it’ll be cherry blossom season and even warmer weather.
Enjoy!
