“Hope is medicine for a soul that’s sick and tired.” ~ Eric Swensson
We tell anyone who is battling illnesses to believe in hope. But why? Because hope is what keeps us going. Hope is what we turn to even when our prognosis looks bleak. Hope is what we hold on to even when things seem too painful. Hope is what we look up to when we are fearful. Battling illnesses are tiring. No one ever said it’ll be easier because we believe in hope. But, hope is what keep us going because it’s the best medicine anyone can prescribe to a patient. Hope may not necessarily cure the toughest diseases, but it does have that potential, so let’s keep holding on to give hope a chance to heal.
