It has been one month since the official release of my debut novel, ‘Hold on please, Emily.’ Thank you to everyone who purchased a copy, left a review, and listened to the accompanying music album, ‘Hold on please, Emily: Songs of Hope.’
My book and music launch were among the many ways I helped #TurnMayGrey to raise awareness for brain tumours. However, we need to move beyond just raising awareness and begin inspiring the cancer community with our messages of HOPE. Even a glimmer of hope goes a long way; Helen Keller once said, “Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”
This month, I put together a musical edition of ‘Hold On‘ by featuring an Australian musician (Andy Quan) and a more in-depth feature on the one and only Kromatix_ (Matthew Isaacs). I also announce the next stage of my #HoldOnPleaseEmily Campaign as we look ahead for Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada’s virtual Brain Tumour Walk on June 27th. Where there is music, there is love. Where there is love, there is hope.
