Grandma, It’s Me with Y.Y. Chan

Y.Y. Chan released a children’s book on Jan 11th called ‘Grandma, It’s Me!‘ that shares a story about dementia. This is a wonderfully written story that discusses this illness in a way that is approachable to children. I thought this was a great topic as many seniors suffer from dementia and their grandchildren are left confused. It’s important to build a community of empathic people, so reading a book like this is a great start in that direction.
