So, today is the day. Officially 6-months since the launch of my debut novel, ‘Hold on please, Emily‘ that came out on May 1st.
The past 6-months of being a published author has taught me so many things, connected me to so many new people, and granted me so many new opportunities. My biggest accolade was getting the honour of being an Amazon #1 Bestseller. But, my biggest regret was not marketing my book properly (or enough) to keep sales up.
Still, the one thing that my book has given me that continues to grow is my community of like-minded people. It’s such an honour to connect to so many authors and musicians that share the same passion I have with writing and being creative. It all started out with my book.
So, with 6-months officially gone by, I hope to continue writing, connecting, and sharing my work with everyone. I wonder what 1-year post-launch will bring? I will just have to wait and find out.
